Osaretin Ugiagbe
Présentation
Osaretin Ugiagbe (1986) est un artiste nigérien, qui vit et travaille entre New York et Baltimore aux États-Unis. À 16 ans, il déménage de Lagos (Nigeria) pour s'installer aux États-Unis, et il s’inspire aujourd’hui de la multiculturalité du Nigeria et du Bronx pour ses peintures.
Cité dans le New York Times ou le Financial Times de Londres, le travail d’Ugiagbe fait partie de plusieurs collections privées et a été exposé dans le Museum of Fine Art de Houston, le Bronx Museum of Art ou le Bronx Documentary Center. L’artiste a récemment complété ses études avec un Master en Art au Royal College of Art de Londres.
